Yes I'm a man but i would like try that dress please....

My shop is for ladies, from dresses and accessories are definitely for ladies. If a man customer steps into our store, the first question we will ask "hi Sir, are you looking for something for your wife, girlfriend, sister, mother, female colleague, or mistress? (Don't worry we won't say like that )

Mostly our man customer is totally relying on us, from everything. Seem like they totally don't have any idea to choose from, they are very nice and friendly too. But how about a man come to your store, and like to try a dress you sell? Not transgender, normal man, fit, with office wear doesn't sound or act like a lady. How do you react? I used to ask if that was for a theater play, party theme, or Halloween event. The answer is no! Just want to try as he likes it

For your information, some of the dresses need our assistance as zipping, buttoning, or tying up the bow inside the fitting room. Yes, we do see their skin as half-naked, well what we should be ashamed of? Both of us have the same gender!

So you can imagine how if this man, calls you to ask for assistance from the fitting room and you are alone?

Well first, you cannot deny his request to give it a try, remember he is still a customer who has the right to get the same or equal service from you. Secondly, if you are alone please ask another helper from another store to company you. If not ask mall security or mall police to stand near to your store, but don't make the customer not comfortable just near enough to monitor.

As sales assistants, we cannot discriminate against our customers. They have a right to give it a try and our job is to give the best service. Being alert or cautious is a better step to take if your feel insecure in case that circumstance happens, but please be natural and calm down ok.
